The Mazeppa Community Trail is celebrating the success of its second annual Monster Dash
fundraiser that was held on October 11th. The weather was wonderful, the monsters were
chilling and fun was had by all who attended. Activities included a costume contest, food
provided by the Mazeppa Lions, face painting by local artists, hair spraying in many funky
colors, pumpkin decorating and games for folks of all ages.
The trail committee wished to extend a special thank you to all their very generous sponsors,
without their support this event would not be possible. Also, to the families that came out and
supported the event–with the Vikings and Green Bay playing that same afternoon, choices were
not easy!
What’s next for the trail–the Mazeppa Community Calendar will be available for purchase in
early November. The calendar will reflect Mazeppa past and present, interesting tidbits with
pictures provided by local artists. Plus, the 2nd Annual Porch Pot Event which will be held on
November 21st at the Mazeppa Muni is now open for registration. Details can be found on the
website. mazeppalocaltrailconnections.com
