We are excited to share that we were able to officially bring some new Self-Contained Breathing Apparatuses (SCBA) into service! With the help of Minnesotagrantwriter , some dept members, and our city officials, our dept was awarded a FY21 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) FEMA grant. This grant allowed us to replace all of our outdated air packs, masks, and spare air cylinders. With a price tag of over $135,000 - the grant was able to help us with over $123,000 of that. As you can imagine, this helped save allot of taxpayer money and will ensure Zumbro Falls Firefighters have quality, updated, safe equipment to use for years to come.
