Linda Dorothy Damman, 71, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Lake City Hospital. She was born Nov. 18, 1951, in Zumbrota, to Elton and Dorothy (Ahrens) Damman. She was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mazeppa and her family later moved to Red Wing where she attended school. She lived in Winona for many years, where she worked for ORC, moving back to Red Wing in the past few years. Linda enjoyed doing craft work especially making potholders/coasters, latch hook and bead work--making bracelets and necklaces.
She is survived by her siblings, Nancy Damman, Fred (Nancy) Damman and Rhonda Johnson all of Red Wing and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Damman.
Memorial service for Linda will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Red Wing, with Pastor Todd Engel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Burnside Cemetery at a later date.
