Patrick Anthony Teece, age 60, left us too soon on the beautiful dawn morning of July 3, 2023 at the Season’s Hospice House. Pat was born in Joliet, Illinois to Tom and Dolly Teece on September 15, 1962. He was the sixth and last child of the family. He moved to Minnesota as a teenager where he graduated from Mazeppa High School and immediately enlisted in the Army for three years. He served proudly in Korea for 13 months.
After the Army he drove over two million miles across the US as an over the road truck driver and then worked for Mayo Clinic until his retirement. Pat enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, camping in his RV, and spending time with his beloved golden lab Carley.
Pat is survived by three brothers; Michael Teece, Joseph, Oregon, Jack Teece, Enterprise, Oregon, Tom Teece, LeHigh Acres, Florida and two sisters; Sharon Freeman, Clever, Missouri, Barbara Hudson, Rochester, MN. Pat fought the good fight with his debilitating illnesses that finally became insurmountable. Pat kept his sense of humor and strong will to the end. He will be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him.
There will be no visitation. Pat will be cremated and buried at the Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN at a later date with full military honors. If you are so inclined, Pat requested you pay it forward to a veteran in need in remembrance of him.
