Adequate sleep is very important in leading a healthy life.  Probably the most important.  If you are tired all the time, you can’t perform well mentally or physically.  The amount of sleep a person needs varies for everyone.  I feel like I need about 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night.  The older I get, the more sleep I need too.  I keep pretty busy typically, and there is no time for a nap for this gal!  I do enjoy a nap about once a month or dozing off while watching TV sometimes (like my dad).  I go to bed between 9 and 10 PM and wake up about 6AM.

It's those late nights out, or when you wake up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep that get you.  That’s when a nap is called for.  I try to get “caught up” on sleep when that happens.
